Erica,

I have a perfume called Lou Lou, it is lovely.

Alot of the old perfumes they dont make these days.

Many years ago when I was 17, Revlon made one called Intimate, I loved that one and so did my friends, it had a divine smell, but it has gone too.

My grandmother use to use one called something.......Violets, had a pretty smell, I can still see the picture on the bottle in my mind.

Chemist Warehouse is having a perfume sale at the moment, might go down and see what they have on offer.

Great minds and all that.......

Revlon Intimate was the very first "grown up" perfume I bought myself when I left school.  I wore it for the best part of 30 years until it was discontinued.

I heard that it was being made in the USA under license and got my SIL to track it down for me.  What a waste of time....it might have been made under license but someone got the recipe wrong.  It was awful.

I have a feeling the Violets perfume might have been Devon Violets.....it was lovely and up to a few years ago could still be bought in the UK.  I bought some on ebay for an elderly friend who was reminiscing about the perfumes of her youth...4711 Eau de Cologne and Devon Violets.

For everyday wear I use Tabu.Smiley Happy

My grandmother wore Tabu.  Many years ago I followed a gal up and down the aisles of a grocery store because she was wearing Tabu and it so reminded me of my gram.

I was never able to wear it as it just didn't smell all that great on me.  Perhaps it only goes over well with certain body chemistry.

I'm into lotions much more than perfumes or cologne.    Right now my favorites are Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist Lotion and Philosophy's Amazing Grace Lotion. 🙂
