Two of my CCs were due to expire and the new card arrived last week. After activating them, I spent half the weekend trying to update the info in all those automatic payments I have set up. I cannot believe how difficult that was. Nobody had simple link to "update your DD info"; yet, that is something that everybody has to do every so often.
The last straw was OPTUS, which I forgot about until got a note that they are going to cut me off. So I started this morning about 7am trying to fix it; their helpful help told me exactly how to do it, and step by step how to reach the page, except when I got there the link to update was not there. After another go, it took me elsewhere, and there only option was to apply for DD with whole new questionnaire. When I tried to call them, and after numerous buttons pressed, the phone went into busy tone for ages, so I hang up.
Finally, after about 2 hours I got through, and the woman asked me how am I this morning, and DID I HAVE A BREAKFAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? That was 10am!

All that just to change an expiry? Wow. Try going out for breakfast tomorrow and send Optus the bill.
