Is this what "being an Aussie" means ? That good mates can punch each other out in public and remain besties ?
I wonder if they conduct their respective businesses in such a fashion. Or whether they got their pugilistic skills from their staff member, Mr Abbott ?

No complaints made to police = no charges.
Yes, school boy behaviour.

We have not the slightest idea what provoked them and made them snap and I see no reason why rich men should feel less provoked than poor. Quite entertaining actually and I reckon by next week they will be best friends again.

This was in today's news
NINE boss David Gyngell has admitted the violent fist fight with billionaire James Packer was his fault.
A statement broadcast on Nine News at 11:30am said Mr Gyngell “respects the job police do and will co-operate fully with their investigation”.
“He also fully accepts that he was the instigator of the incident.
“Clearly had he not turned up at Packer’s premises in an angry mood, then the confrontation would never have occurred.”......
.....The Daily Telegraph understands Mr Packer seriously considered suing Mr Gyngell for assault on the basis three witnesses could testify on his behalf.
However, he decided not to inflame the situation further.

This is what made me think of the bully boy scenario. Yesterday it was Packer threw the first punch after leaping from car in attack mode, after demanding Gyngell get rid of the news truck. Today it's all Gyngell's fault. Less money? Less to lose?

Nine released a statement saying everyone has their “ups and downs”.
Yep. Everyone’s had that moment where they find themselves in their trackies punching on with their childhood friend on the streets of Sydney and then feasting on caviar to recover.

How judgemental. Aren't people entitled to wear what they want on their days off? What's wrong with track pants etc?
After being in a suit for most of the week like these two men are considering the work they do, I would imagine they relish the times they can 'dress down'.
I know my husband who used to wear a suit and tie for his work couldn't wait to get home and into casual clothes each evening, and he lived in that type of clothing on weekends.

And don't forget that if a charge is laid and he is found guilty, Packer might be in trouble with his Casino licences. I believe they have to have an unblemished record and be of good character. cough.

Oh well, they weren't very successful in their King Hits
