Je Ne Suis Plus Charlie !

Re: Je Ne Suis Plus Charlie !

If somebody gropes me in crowded space I just stomp on their foot,

good for you and i hope you never find

yourself in a situation where you are

surrounded by 20 or more men and your

partner is not able to defend you.

what happened to some of those women

was more than 'just' groping.  some had

their tights and underwear torn off.

Will we ever know what was orchestrated and by whom?  Mass sex attack on German women is a great advantage for the neo Nazis that are trying to oust Angela Merkel

and get into power.  It will have a terrible effect on all the refugees who escaped the horrors of war and would like to find a safe place to live and raise their kids.  So why would the people who are hoping to get refuge in Germany organise that?  It makes absolutely NO sense what so ever.

Exactly. Why would those seeking safety jeopardise that by committing such horrible crimes enmasse or individually? The attacks appear to be co-ordinated but by whom and for what purpose? It makes no sense whatsoever.

the only conspiracy i can see

is the authorities trying to downplay

these crimes.

Will we ever know what was orchestrated and by whom?

i don't see why not.

its been reported social media played

a part and merkel did promise she would

get to the bottom of it.

she also said:

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Monday that Europe was "vulnerable" in the refugee crisis because it was not yet in control of the situation to the extent that it would like to be.

"Now all of a sudden we are facing the challenge that refugees are coming to Europe and we are vulnerable, as we see, because we do not yet have the order, the control, that we would like to have," Merkel said at a business event in Mainz, near Frankfurt.

So why would the people who are hoping to get refuge in Germany organise that?  It makes absolutely NO sense what so ever.

agree, it doesn't makes sense at all

when understanding the consequences.

but what if there is no such understanding?

In November, the Refugees Welcome organisation in the western city of Bonn was forced to apologise to attendees of a welcoming party after women were “molested, touched and harassed” by male refugees.

“Single men, who do not know how to behave, exist in every country and society as well as patriarchal structures which come to light through such behaviour,” the group wrote on its website.

“However, we do not want to deny that there are cultural differences. But instead of just adversely pointing fingers at those who misbehave, we believe it’s as important for everyone in our civil society to tackle these differences in the daily integration.”

According to a leaked police report, published in German media, one of the attackers told police: “I am Syrian. You have to treat me kindly: Mrs Merkel invited me.”

It will have a terrible effect on all the refugees who escaped the horrors of war and would like to find a safe place to live and raise their kids.

yes it will.  it already has.

Authorities who are responsible for avoiding riots have to make a decision how to handle the situation.  In such circumstances allowing everything to be reported could have been dangerous. It is not that the police did not act against the offenders.  Just like here, not all details of crimes are reported.

According to other sources false Syrian passports are available on black market and used by people from other countries, so if somebody wants to stir they can do it pretending to be from Syria.  Of-course, if Daily Mail says something it must be the truth.  By the way, did this attacker say it in German or Arabic?

makes perfect sense someone would

pretend to be a refugee and risked being

deported.  not.

the leaked report was initially

published by german newspapers.

the same newspapers that also

reported about the attackers tearing

up their residence permits.

not sure which language they spoke;

most probably english or german.  in

some instances, they were written on

paper.

and what are those 'other sources' you

are quoting?

Re: Je Ne Suis Plus Charlie !

I am confused, did police leave attackers out on the streets after complaints were made about them?

Surely those men would have been removed immediately to stop them attackign anyone else?

If somebody paid them to stir up trouble, then it would make a perfect sense.

I know number of people who came to Australia from brutal police states (like Chile and others) and one thing they have in common, even after years here they find it very hard to trust the police.  To the point that some would not be able to walk into a police station when their house was robbed.  The Syrian regime is particularly brutal, and I find it very difficult to believe that people coming from there would be so blase about talking to police.  In Syria they would get their finger nails pulled out for being cheeky.

Re: Je Ne Suis Plus Charlie !

What would also make perfect sense (much more sense than a paranoid conspiracy theory) is that these young men organised themselves on social media by word of mouth and acted out of a profound disrespect for their host country and for the female citizens of that country . . . because, well they just haven't been taught to respect women very much and in fact have, by their upbringing and indoctrination, been taught that it's ok and even normal to exploit and oppress women.

and they took their chance . . .  and had a good night out, by all accounts.

It's a cultural thing.

Cologne Carnival is coming up soon; in the first week of Feb, I think. (unless it is cancelled to prevent a somewhat predictable repeat of events?)
