In one form or another, you trot out this line in every thread about refugees.
Why does every rapist rape, murderer murder, thief steal? Because they think they can get away with it!
Throw mob mentality into the mix and it's 10 fold.
I'll be interested to read how you make out when you house some of these people under your roof.
And talk about under reported...I'd wager the reports filed are only a fraction of the actual cases. How many people won't report being raped out of fear, embarrassment, or a number of other reasons? Many!

Do you actually know anybody from Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan? I do and very well. None of the men ever shown any disrespect for women. Their wives and daughters are are strong independent and well educated. Rapists and murderers exist in every country; Australian men are not exactly examples of how to treat women, DV is rife and remind me, how many women a week were killed last year by their partners last year?
Some people do not seem to comprehend that the genuine Syrian refugees came from terrible situation after losing everything in the war, and living in refugee camps for up to 4 years, they paid small fortune to people smugglers for dangerous see voyage, then they traveled across Europe, often on foot, to get to Germany and they know how lucky they are they made it before it will become impossible to get through. They know that they are the few lucky ones. Staying in Germany or being accepted by another country is their only chance to have a future. And that is just not going to happen if you commit crime.

That is not really so much valid argument now, it was the past when woman who was raped was often blamed, and therefore hesitant to report sexual assault. But if rapes are under reported then they are under reported across the board not just when they are committed by refugees. So the stats overall stand. And I would want to see proper report of ALL incidents that NY eve. Last night on the news was reported that one of the attackers arrested is American and others German. The thing is crime committed by a refugee (even if later comes to light he actually is not a refugee) will hit the headlines, the corection appears on the bottom of page 25 in small letters. Leaked quote of something supposedly said by one of those detained is being repeated around the world as a fact. "leaked" means friend of a friend told me, and even if it came from somebody in the police station who is to say it was true? Even if it was written down and signed, did the person actually know what he was signing? I'd expect Syrian refugee would not be fluent in German. I mean, large percentage of Europeans is very racist and against any refugees coming to their country, police are not any different. I lived in Europe for a year about 20 years ago, and I was shocked then how many seemingly normal, educated people would openly express their opinion that gypsies should be exterminated because they are subhuman, and if allowed to stay they would contaminate their race. As far as I am concerned "pure race" means inbred.

It's a cultural thing.
the 'refugees welcome' organisation
would probably be more aware of this
than anyone else.
In November, the Refugees Welcome organisation in the western city of Bonn was forced to apologise to attendees of a welcoming party after women were โmolested, touched and harassedโ by male refugees.
โSingle men, who do not know how to behave, exist in every country and society as well as patriarchal structures which come to light through such behaviour,โ the group wrote on its website.
โHowever, we do not want to deny that there are cultural differences. But instead of just adversely pointing fingers at those who misbehave, we believe itโs as important for everyone in our civil society to tackle these differences in the daily integration.โ
'Taharrush'
Monday's report into the attacks in Cologne says that the combination of group sexual violence with robbery had not previously been seen in Germany.
It notes that similar crimes took place in other parts of Germany on 31 December, including in Hamburg.
The report describes a modus operandi known as "taharrush gamea" in Arabic, meaning group sexual harassment in crowds, and compares it to incidents reported in Cairo's Tahrir Square at the time of the Egyptian revolution.
Addressing state MPs on Monday, Mr Jaeger criticised police for not calling for reinforcements on the night, and also for the way they informed the public about the investigation in the days after the events.
The men suspected of attacking women in Cologne on New Year's Eve were "almost exclusively" from a migration background, mainly North African and Arab, an official report says.
Cologne police also made "serious mistakes" in not calling reinforcements and the way they informed the public.

Police fear a gang-rape phenomenon known as 'taharrush gamea' in the Arab world and seen in attacks on women across German cities at the New Year has now spread to Europe.
The name of the practice translates to 'collective harassment' and is carried out by large groups of men who sexually assault lone women, either by groping, or in some instances, raping them.
The men first surround their victim in circles. Some then sexually assault her, while others not directly involved watch or divert outsiders' attention to what is occurring.

Surely those men would have been removed immediately to stop them attackign anyone else?
according to the reports, there
were too many of them and the
police have been criticised for not
calling for reinforcements.
there are interviews with victims
complaining the police didn't do
enough to protect them.

An American woman has told how she was rescued from being sexually assaulted on New Yearโs Eve in Cologne by a group of Syrian refugees.
Caitlin Duncan, a neuroscience student from Seattle, told the New York Times she had become separated from her boyfriend in the crowded square outside the cityโs famous cathedral and main railway station.
She described a man stealing her hat before another โgrabbedโ her from behind, searching through her pockets and a third man tried to kiss her face and neck.
The 27-year-old escaped and attempted to complain to police but they were busy trying to clear the square and shoved her back into the crowd, where another group of men started groping her and pulling her hair.
โI went into a kind of fighting mode, and kicked and hit and pushed until I got away,โ she said. โI was getting really scared.โ
That was when she was approached by a group of Syrian refugees offering help.
They formed a protective cordon around Ms Duncan to help her through the crowd, offered to phone her boyfriend and searched for him with her when she could not remember his number.
The couple were eventually reunited inside the railway station, with Ms Duncan crying in relief.
Among the group was Hesham Ahmad Mohammad, a 32-year-old primary school teacher who fled Aleppo and was celebrating New Yearโs Eve in Cologne with other Syrian friends who have recently arrived in Germany.
He told the New York Times he was also frightened by the groups committing the attacks, saying they had โlost their mindsโ on drink and drugs.
โWe keep hearing news about refugees all day: โThey are bad people, they must go back to their home,โ โ he said.
โWhen I hear that in the news, I am sad. Because we know that there were bad boys and bad people. But the good people, nobody speaks about them.โ

Interesting, because this sort of modus operandi was used by groups of gypsies for decades all over Europe. I was warned about that 20 years ago when I lived in Europe for a year. I was told about it by my freinds in Paris, I know people who were robbed by group of men who surrounded them going back almost 30 years, and my daughter and her husband were robbed on train in Athens in the same way..
So saying that it is Arab thing unknown in Europe is not true. And yes, the first reports said that te attackers looked North African, but since then the reports are saying other things and until the identities of the perpetrators are properly confirmed, it is irresponsible to lay blame on the whole culture. And ISIS are laughing.
Sadly the neo nazis are milking it for all they can and gaining traction. When we have fascist governments across Europe, then we will have really something to worry about.
