I'm the kind of person who would drag the oven down to the kerb, within view of the house, and leave an inflated balloon with a smiley face drawn on it, inside.
Somebody's going to come along and open the oven and have that "Wah!" moment, and with luck, I'll see it happen.
The lengths I will go to for childish entertainment know no bounds.

That was me. I'm the Weber fan. I haven't cooked anything uncovered in my oven since getting ours. I love my WeberQ -family size
I am however, willing to take your (now) clean oven off your hands if it is causing you stress 
I'll even throw in my old dodgy upright Westinghouse if you like 
Me too Lurker, it is a most splendid barbeque grill and I've almost abandoned my big oven in favour of it. We've got the kettle one of that brand too, only bad thing, (which we caused), is we set some toast on fire ...
