Just once, (or maybe for a week) I would be so happy if my OH would :
put the milk back in the fridge....
wipe up the spills on the bench
put his clothes IN the hamper
put his sandals in the wardrobe
take his mobile phone with him as he goes to work (so the neighbours don't have to watch me in my pj's run out and give it to him......(or I have to answer it all day...)
sign the cheques correctly.......:| (so I can do the banking and mailing the same day)
Is it too much to ask?X-(
and: make a decision about the new fridge.......

trivial most days..... but sometimes it becomes more..... just by the sheer volume of it....

Well, you live and learn, Az. I'd never have guessed Joz was such a frequent visitor to your home.:O

me neither....
I would offer to give him the mobile number so he can call and tell him I am complaining but.... it is here... and I would answer 😉

sorry to say that. but it's your own fault. men are as easy to train as dogs.
leave the milk out where he left it. don't buy new one when it goes off. when he says something like "we are out of milk, can you buy some?" you say: "no, sorry, pointless since you can't be bothered to put it into the fridge"
when he leaves his mobile, turn it off or ignore it when it rings. don't run after him. his problem if he misses calls.
throw his sandals somewhere...in a corner where they don't bother you and where he can't find them easily. when he asks where they are say: i don't know. if you had put them in the wardrobe you wouldn't have to look for them. do NOT help him look for them.
clothes that are not in the hamper don't get washed. easy.
😮 but....... yes, my own fault...... on the other hand, I don't have to go to work outside the home......:-D

..and buy a new fridge. preferably one with pink flowers plastered all over it, or a white one and put the flowers on yourself. make sure it's a pattern/colour he dislikes ]:)
when he wonders/complains say: "you couldn't be bothered and we needed a new fridge, you had your chance now live with it."

Az, I can feel your pain. No OH here, but I do have a 15 year old son ... I love him to bits, but OH!!!! his room, his habits.

Oh, and buy a BIG fridge ... I bought a cheap one, but it's too small really. I don't have a lot of stuff in the freezer (only broad beans and peas and ice cubes), but often the fridge is just stuffed.

I can't decide on the fridge...... I actually don't like frozen meat or chicken, generally I end up tossing it..... so, fish, peas, beans, pastry, chicken tenders/nuggets/sausages... gluten free for the children, gf bread, corn cobs. Ice blocks, ice cream... is usually it.
I like the french door one with the freezer at the bottom..... have to make him think about it tonight. Yes, Katy, have decided bigger is better. 🙂 but I don't want to spend a fortune, needing a new dishwasher soon too.
