Well the good ol' boys just can not help themselves and now it is helpless wombats which are considered a " threat to farm machinery" and so need to be culled for the sake of continued properous economic activity in the manner accustomed to.
As noted in the pics accessed from this link - they are huge feroscous creatures which hairy armoured bodies and primitive nervous systems just waiting to spring upon the unwary and who dig holes that swollow tractors , all 800 of them in crafty co-ordination, who apparantly get wild if run over..
