Re: Kindle advice

I am getting a bit annoyed that when I buy books now, they don't always go to my Kindle? and I have to log in on my computer and send them to it. no idea why.

I have it set to one click buy and send to my Kindle.

Any ideas?

I am having the same issues with the new touch kindle that I got a few months ago. I buy books, and turn wifi on, go to Check and upload new items [or whatever it says], and it checks and says 'no new items'.

So I go to Menu, select Archived Items and usually my purchases are in there. I touch each title and they download that way.

I tried checking if the Kindle was fully updated, which it was, checked all my settings [which are fine], but the issue is the same. If you contact Amazon by email they will contact you to organise a phone call to you made by them, and talk you through it.

I just haven't done that yet. I might try today later on.

By the way, my son has a brand new touch Kindle, the same as mine [both bought from DS in Aussie] and I was setting it up for him on Saturday and had the exact same trouble, but then yesterday it worked fine.

Strange..........

Re: Kindle advice

Thank you, mine is the 3G wifi. Will contact them, not a big deal but if I am away from home, I may not have access to get the book I want.

Another freebie recommendation:

Ripple - A Dolphin Love Story by Tui Allen.

This is a fabulous book by an author who happens to live not far from my home town.  I have read the book and was blown away by it. it is unlike anything I have ever read before.

Re: Kindle advice

No, the Fire still not available in Australia from Amazon, that's what I've been waiting for!

There are, however, a few sellers in Australia who have them, I've been watching and waiting and saving all this time ๐Ÿ™‚
