The book will always open at the last page you read when you turn it back on or change books. I have several open at a time, some help books as well as novels.

"I am reading the book I bought yesterday but haven't been game to click off it in case I lose my page.  If I go to menu and do other things, then click back on this book, will it take me to the page I'm up to?"

It will always go back to the page you were on. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, it should always go back to the page you left it on, but once in a blue moon it just doesn't ๐Ÿ˜  It's very annoying when this happens.

If you are reading a book on your Kindle, then leave at a certain page, go visit Home Page, or elsewhere, the next time you click on that book again to read it, you will be taken back to that same spot.

Hush by Anne Frasier.

I read it a few months ago, and it was one of those books I could not put down!

I think I have finally found the one place I can't take my kindle.......

I am about to hop into the spa to ease my sore back but I'm not game to take the kindle with me :_| :^O

Lurker on a Kindle messageboard I visit people have mentioned that they put thier kindle into a plastic ziploc bag when they are near water.  The A site also has waterproof cases for most of the Kindle models (they don't have one for the new touch model which isn't available in Aust yet)

I loooooove my kindle!!

Not sure if it is a good thing though.  I have read 3 books already and it's not even a week since I bought it.  Everyday there is 1 or 2 free books on pixel that I fancy.

I love reading from it - it's light and you don't have to lift your hand to turn the page.

I have been buying a weekly magazine for years - cancelled it the other day.  I've got enough to read without it.  Just wish we could get the newspaper on the kindle.

Just thought I would share.
