yes, i give kudos. and, i've had some.. its a new experience. do you think kudo-giving is a form of cyber-bullying when its backs up a critical post or remark ? is a combination of kudos and tags too much to bear, and do you think it divides an already fractured community ? is the community fractured naturally , and the fracturing not a concern ? is it not fractured ? .

I do. If someone has been overly kudoed (making up words?) for a nasty post I alway want to check who gave it.

Hi Deb, Me too, Did you think as I thought and that my kudos were registering as double kudos ?
on 26-07-2013 09:26 AM

Iza, I don't know, it's too early in the morning for me to answer questions like that lol

It's OK Deb, someone else must have been giving kudos at the exact time I did...ie;4 would go to 6 not 5 .

I leave kudos when I agree with and/or like the post and there is no need to add anything. Sometimes I have already posted in that topic earlier, but not always.
Just because some people never post does not necessarily mean anything sinister; I have a friend, old man in his late 70s, who spends a lot of time looking at various discussions, but is too shy and slow typing to ever post. He goes to boards for a hobby that he is still actively involved with and that keeps him up to date with what is going on in the field of his interest, and keeps him busy for a part of a day.
If somebody likes to read opinions or learn how eBay works by coming here, without ever commenting, what is the harm? Actually, I would think that if somebody has nothing to say, it is better not say it
Good post kazumi.
I often browse tech forums when looking for an answer to a tech problem I may have. When I find that the same problem I have has been already answered, lleaving a kudo's (if avail) for the person who has bothered to help by answering it, is the least I can do. No point posting, as it everything has already been said.
Life is too short to get paranoid about looking for sinister implications in kudo's ticks.
If anyone leaves a kudo's on a post by mistake (hit the wrong post's kudo button) it can be removed by going to options above the post and choosing revoke kudo.
