Do you think it's possible to be LGTB and a Christian?
What about other religions/faiths/beliefs?
Note: Please don't be nasty! Whatever your personal beliefs, I didn't start this thread so you could offend each other. Please be nice and try to be understanding. This is a public forum, anyone can read what is written here. Thanks!

People choose to face the world in many different ways.
But I'm not telling you anything you didn't already know.

I read somewhere that 25-50% of the clergy are gay.
Didn't your mother ever tell you not to loiter in public toilets to read the graffiti on the walls?

doesn't the bible say something about killing gay people? ...and while we are at it killing adulterers for their evil crimes against humanity/their god/whatever

Why do you need to ask? Are you conducting a personal poll? Are you just stirring the pot?
I know the answer to my own question if asked in a literal sense, yes. However I was hoping that some of you on the thread would recognize that what I was really asking was 'do you think it's right to be religious/a believer and be gay/trans/bi/etc.' Most people seem concerned with answering the question in a literal sense

Why didn't you just say that

Anyone has a right to be a Christian it's a pact between yourself and God, not a membership decided by others who may deem you unfit, Jesus walked with the beggers, prostitues, outcasts and lepers(the AIDS of his time).

Best bit of graffiti - toot in a bar at The Rocks - Sydney.
'My mother made me a Lesbian'.
'If I get her some wool would she make me one too'.
Might add the bar had whitewashed walls where the whole frustrating story of 'The Fugitive' was written & added to - nightly.

apparently there hasn't been enough discussions of this topic on here already - OP seems to need a bit more angst happening.
No one asked you to join in or to even read the thread. You did that of your own accord.
