I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Won't help at all and a vote for the Greens is a vote for labour.

i hope they hold melbourne and maybe gain a seat. i do agree that they have shot themselves in the foot from time to time, but the others look like swiss cheese. did you see greg hunt trying to explain his old thesis on pollution and financial incentive to restrict it last night ? what a squirm that was .. believing in something and having to lie to explain his change of heart.

''Coalition climate change spokesman Greg Hunt won a prize for his 1990 university thesis on ‘A tax to make the polluter pay’, the economic theory was widely recognised. Hunt pointed out that ‘An attraction of a pollution tax regime is that it produces a strong incentive for firms to engage in research and development’. For consumers, ‘goods which do not generate [pollution] in their production will become relatively cheaper and therefore more attractive’.

Discussing the politics surrounding pollution taxes, Hunt argued out that ‘a pollution tax is both desirable, and, in some form, is inevitable’, but acknowledged ‘even if some of the Liberal’s [sic] constituents do respond negatively, a pollution tax does need to be introduced to properly serve the public interest’.'  http://www.andrewleigh.com/blog/?p=621

Meant to add, I will never vote for the greens again. They are not realistic at all, it's very easy to be anti everything when you aren't in government.

I wonder if the Labor opposition will go down that path Donna? 🙂

LOL... not even the Greens like Gillard.

But the Greens don't dislike them enough to withdraw support and send us to an early election.... it seems they know that some will not have jobs at the end of the next election so they will still carry on supporting a party that they do not like just for the sake of a pay cheque.

,

Hypocrites & devoid of any honour. The sheer hypocrisy of this mob beggars belief. They are facing the abyss so will support this failed government till its death.

Milne wouldn't answer the preferences question yesterday.

Labor will take Adam Bant's seat this election.

We are watching over the demise of this lunatic party. It may not happen this election but Brown knew, read the writing on the wall & jumped. They will go the way of the Democrats or will become irelevent.

Green parties have been wiped out world wide & only  ultra left wing governments still have a remnant of Green party PM's.

Ireland woke up & slung them ALL out, they no longer exist there.
