Labor Party, Rudd & Gillard A Total Failure

Today Julia Gillard will have been PM for as long as Kevin Rudd.

Unfortunately for Australians their records are just as bad: more debt, deficits, waste, boats, broken promises and increasing cost of living pressures on families and more lies

So, if he's a parasite, what does that make the other politicians (and that includes the Labour ones) It's fine to think pollies are parasites, but you can't really say one lot are and the the side you prefer aren't.

evry single day News and the rest print falshoods and make insinuations about the PM out of nothing.

if i want to express my misgivings about him, it pales in comparison.. i mean how can i compete with nonstop 24 hr BS ? answer.. i cant. so instead i say as i please, and its factual.

Do you have mission to compete? You are pro Labour, And from what I've observed you jump to every time something remotely in the Libs favour is posted, or posts something against Labour. And it comes across as you don't think anyone else is allowed to have an opinion that's different to yours. And frankly, I'm sick of it. There's a difference between debating, having a bit of fun, and coming down hard on people because they have a different politcal view to you. And that's not alone, I do realise there's a couple of others that do the same thing.

Re-read the bolded. That's how I feel. I'm a swing voter, but the constant evil Libs, angel Labour thing is pushing me in one direction only. You and others pounce on anything that's not in a good light for Labour, and sometimes it's meant lighthearted, the way I read them. And the Labour push is really just getting off putting.

I'm not offended. Would just like everyone to have the right to have their own political views/discussions without the "big sticks" coming out and bashing threads into oblivion.

i've already been long aware it's possibly counter- productive.

sometimes i even try to shut up. . but then i realise it's vanity to think i'd have any effect anyway. so rather than swallow it (again)

i spit it out.

It's all in good fun I think but if members are going to post bs articles from non credible sources then they are asking for it (me thinks)

I don't care who is in Government, so long as they do the job they are elected to do.... I am tired of seeing name calling, critique of clothing/partner/home/job/hair/ swimming attire, in every thread posted about politics here.

But you do have an effect. Probably not in the political sense, but on this forum. People seem too scared to post their opinion (politically) unless they're radical because time after time the posse has come in and shut them down. And sometimes they've had a point. I think it's had a run-on effect on the forum in general too, people seem to have given up posting anything in case it gets jumped on.

Really, no one can comment on Julia's hair colour? And we'll bring up Abbot every time and rip into him, doesn't matter if he has nothing whatsoever to do with the issue.

I agree with you. I did notice Julia's hair and figured she just picked up the wrong number hair dye. LOL
