Clarification - when I said 1-2 hours spent with customers each day, I meant EACH customer, and there could be up to 5-10 per day.A visit at the hairdressers is limited to 30 mins
No more than 6 ppl in the salon at any one time, including the stylists.
Customers are to wait outside until called in by the stylist.
Chairs, benches and equipment to be sanitised after each customer.
Keep up, Icy. That rule went out the window before it grew legs.
Even your wash and blow dry took longer than that.
"We sanitise everything, we can keep a 1.5-metre gap between clients, but we obviously can't do that between a hairdresser and client.
"We also use hairdryers and that's circulating the air around the salons far more than in other industries."

Do you have any reliable statistics as to how many ppl have caught the virus from their hairdresser, Lio?
Anybody can sneeze anywhere, you don't have to go to the hairdressers.
If you're that worried about breathing air, I suggest you stop it.

As if you'd know how long it takes.

the talk ive heard is pretty much they (the experts) are still learning about this virus.
how its transmitted is still up for discussion.
its proven touching like handshaking or kissing and hugging will do it.
sneezing/coughing on someone if your a carrier seems likely too.
sneezing/coughing generally i would think would be low chance of spreding infection.
personally i wouldnt want anyone sneezing or coughing on me now.

Anyone would think I've never been to a hairdresser.
Google knows how long.
