Years ago, I used to. I'd borrow numerous books, attend book launches, guest authors, as well as regularly take my kids there but these days, I tend to purchase books - new or second hand - instead. I do love being surrounded by books. The main reasons that I stopped going was mostly due to the constraints of mental illness.

This is a good book to get from the library.

my daughter is going today to get me a couple of audio books
i wish we had got on to going to the library 30 years ago instead of spending thousands on books
and then having to put up with the dust catchers for years
then ended up selling them for loose change
my daughter also gets all her books from the library

I'm not into novels etc at all, so I've never really had loads of books stashed away. But I love informational books, and I've been trying to de-clutter them lately. Now I'm just left with books I find really useful that I keep returning too, and childhood favourites that are sentimental items ๐
