I have had a few posts removed, each time I have received a courtesy message explaining why it was removed, and have been able to communicate with the mod - yes, a real live person, not a bot!!! .

Let's hope they continue this trend and don't resort to liveworld's inept system.

yes i agree the mods are deffo responsive in PMs quite civil and polite in their approach too but i'd like to see them respond more in public in the new community experience board for example, there are many many un-ansewred questions there

In my experience its normal that mods dont respond publicly to questions, it would be too easy to get suckered into an arguement as you see happen here all the time

or people would cry fowl that they are not being unbiased so its easier to not get dragged into public discusions .

they are responsive in a professional manner, havent seen them fall for any baits

I agree Joz.. though do you mean Jeff ?

He works for ebay not Lithium .He is Ebay's Nth America's Director of Community .In that thread there questions about moderation he says what the mods will do (there anyway) ..including answering questions on the boards especially those directed at them.

but to me that doesnt matter, i'd just like to see more participation from any mod on NCE board

and im sure any mod are trained enough & are grown up enough to avoid any conflicks

I don't know Joan Joz? Aren't all ours on the boards mod's not ebay employees which is what Jeff is on the US boards you put the link in to up there ?

We don't have anyone in Jeff's ebay position here .If you were referring to him ?

and how he replied and interacted with members? He works for ebay and he has been brilliant over there .One of his posts outlines what the mods will do as far as interaction which is what you and Hawk were talking about ? From what he says you are correct

joan i saw a few times on our NCE board iza, with blue little people icons next to her name just like what jeffs got, so i assume now joan is employed by ebay too.
