I have had a few posts removed, each time I have received a courtesy message explaining why it was removed, and have been able to communicate with the mod - yes, a real live person, not a bot!!! .

Let's hope they continue this trend and don't resort to liveworld's inept system.

I really think the tag button should be removed because of some using it in the wrong way.

Even though 5 years ago I was well up on board politics, when I read a lot of the inuendo here now I am lost (and bored) despite some of it apparently still being the same issues. I wonder what someone totally new to the boards must think? No wonder it is so so so s.......................l.......................o........................w   on here.

Can tags be reported in the same way posts can, and if so, what is the real difference between a 'nasty' tag and a 'nasty' post?

the real difference is a nasty post will likely be seen and slapped, so a nasty tag is a sneaky way of going about it.

If you get a nasty Tag, you report your own post but explain that you are reporting it because of the tag.

The mods are very nice about it and will answer you.

People think they can use  tags to write words they know they wont get away with if they use them in posts.

I was hoping that the boards would become a nice place to post and make friends not a battle ground.

I have made a lot of friend here and meet them in person, had some great times with them in different Aussie cities.

According to my inbox I have received a message from the ebay community with the return address including the word 'moderation' and I have to log in to see it. I am logged in but where is it? I have other pm's but the email accompanying them has had the sender's name and I can see them on the site.

the message should be with your other messages - look beside the envelope up the top, if you have unread messages it will show how many there.
