Loneliness

Hi all. It took me ages to get the courage to write this. I recently moved to Victoria, know no one, and am extremely lonely. I am a STRAIGHT married woman, but am at the stage where it is a marriage in name only. I am a young at heart 62 year old, look after myself, love a laugh (and a cry if needed LOL). I just adore my 3 little dogs, who are my best friends and the loves of my life. I love shopping, trash and treasure markets, my computer (which I'd be lost without LOL), cooking, music, etc.etc. I'd love to meet other women to have a coffee and "yak" with, go shopping with etc. etc. I am very down to earth and non judgemental...I have had tough times in my life and judge no one. Soooo...if there's anyone out there, I'd love to hear from you. Thank you for reading my ad, have a nice day and take care.

Re: Loneliness

Wow, ladies.

I have just returned from a trip to Moe, stopped off at Mirboo North for some of the best fish and chips in South Gippsland.

Welcome 123, would love to meet you, but live on the other end of Victoria. But one never knows where my hubbies mood will take us.

Hi Cavaliers--good you had the courage to post.

Hope some posters from the Shepparton area read this thread.

Try taking a dog for a walk in a local park -the same time as others.

Think i know what breed they are ,..lol.............................Richo.

Good thinking richo- dog owners are often really friendly and the dogs and 123 also get the exercise...

All depends. Why do you ask, helen?

OH was a professional driver. Driving is in his blood and he hates sitting around, doing nothing.

My benefit. I have never travelled so much, than what I have since I married my man eight years ago yesterday.

Re: Loneliness

Some years ago my brother helped me with getting my dog to the vets.  In the waiting room, everyone seems to talk to each other and ask about peoples pets.

His plan was to get himself a puppy and visit the vets place every weekend because he'd never had so many women want to have a chat with him in one day. He thought it would be easier than trying to pick up a date in the supermarket 😄
