Lottsa chicks :)

Hen vanished for a few week and then reappeared with her brood, 13 chicks 🙂

All are  well now and home where they should be 🙂

That's fortunate, she can tell the difference between a boyfriend and a girlfriend.

These days a lot can't differentiate 😞

I few years ago I had a good laugh when my friend said her cat was a girl.

I had a look and it was a boy, I said to her how could you miss those, they were not little ones.

As Mum bred dogs and we had cats, I have never found it a problem, birds are harder.

I remember as a young girl asking silly questions on farms and learnt fast hahaha

Me too , they lay lovely eggs 🙂

I like eggs cooked in just about any way, hmmm might have to get a piglet too eggs and bacon go well together 🙂

The ones in the background are 6 weeks old their mother is the sister of the current mum.

She keeps them away from the little chicks, very protective of her brood 🙂
