Yahoo news - based on News Corps article
Mr Spedding had been initially interviewed by Family and Community Services (FACS) workers on December 9 last year over an issue separate to the Tyrell case, News Corp reports.
The mother of one of the children who had been living with the Speddings now wants her child back, according to News Corp.
And that mother was quoted as saying her child was taken from her in 2011?

Family services would always be involved, wouldn't they?
Maybe 2 brothers from one family and a boy from another?
Daughter in law is the mother and has not got custody of any of her children, maybe 7 or 8 of them but 2 are older than 16.........
From what I have seen elsewhere, the Speddings have a blended family.

Family services can be interviewing for any reason, foster children can say something innocent or just want to go home to mum and make something up, tell a teacher or put something on fb, and very soon, there is a FACS worker there asking questions.

From news reports they were removed by FACS. The Daily Telegraph article is more recent than the Australian one. I know the Daily Telegraph isn't known for 'accuracy'.
I wonder why the police wouldn't confirm or deny if either of the Speddings is related to the birth parents of William?

This seems to be the latest news on the case. I hope he is still alive.

THE homicide squad took over the investigation into the disappearance of William Tyrrell shortly after he went missing but are still not completely convinced the three-year-old is dead.
The Newcastle Herald can also reveal one of the state’s most respected homicide investigators, Detective Inspector Gary Jubelin, has taken over the lead role in the investigation just days after police searched two properties belonging to a local handyman.
Police yesterday confirmed the investigation, codenamed Strike Force Rosann, was being run by the homicide squad and, despite other reports, the specialist unit became involved in the investigation shortly after William went missing ‘‘as a matter of caution and [to] explore the possibility of human intervention’’.
‘‘Although we have grave concerns for William’s welfare, until we have conclusive evidence that William is deceased, we will be keeping our minds open to all possibilities including that he could be alive,’’ investigators said.

What proof are you asking for?
There are quite a few fb pages and other pages where this has been discussed.................. his biological mother has posted on some, her fb page also has had references to William, as I understand it.
