LOL, yes, I thought exactly the same thing last night. ๐Ÿ™‚

Its not my branch as I don't live in Cairns.

If he was I for one would be giving him a ribbing about his maths.

Wasted lobster alright!  Why on earth wouldn't you give everyone

a half tail each and do some kind of avocado mayonnaise.   It's

not like the lobster was cooked in any special way. Why buy so

many, if all you were going to do, was put a tablespoon of the meat

on top of sliced avocado?  Looked like baby food.

I think they should all have a budget.  That would be fair

Also, why the hell did they buy a couple of dozen passionfruit at around $1 each when that they had their own vine with plenty of fruit on it (although as it turned out, it was just as well that they had them to use as spares when he stuffed up the passionfruit syrup)?

And if you believe that convenient little coincidence wasn't part of a carefully scripted scenario, then you are more gullible than I took you for, CQ..

I believe if you took a look into their freezer you would find quite a stash of lobster and mud crabs!
What else could they have done with them? I doubt they used 1/2.

trouble is, now that hes at the bottom of the ladder, there is no way he is going to score any of the other teams fairly.

But, it wont matter. Pete and Manu will bump their scores up so that he doesnt get through this round

I did like the statue that was on the patio. It would look lovely in my back yard.

Who actually pays for all of the ingredients in their meals? I imagine it must be the producers because do you have any idea how much they would have paid for around 18 live FNQ rock lobsters and the same number of live mud crabs?

I think the producers must pay a stet amount but I imagine the contestants are allowed to pay out of their own funds, if they can.

When watching it last night my impression was that the dirty old man's friends who rave about his and his girly's dinner parties only come for the expensive ingredients. I'd say almost anything to get a free lobster and mud crab dinner Cat Tongue

After the 2 young Tassie girls effort last night. Its up to the young fellas this evening to do well or at least better the captain. I was so glad the girls did well, their main problem was their time management. But still they had their main on the table in just over an hour and that was an hour and a half better then the night before.
