Well - given you have the machine handy - another 2 dozen to send up here - not out of the question ??

I draw the line at buttons.

I'm not a sewing person either.

The best I can do is that iron-on sticky stuff - hemming tape.

I guess it will do the same job.

I'll just make the top and bottom hems wider.

Yip yip yip!   I've already made a few masks for some friends in Victoria.  I don't think the pattern I had would win any prizes though .. Woman LOL   I'm not absolutely sure whether their faces were too small, or the masks were too big ... in the end, we discussed it somewhat energetically and they ended up with flat tennis shoelaces to go around the ears/head ... Smiley Surprised   Smiley Tongue

Strangely, the flat shoelaces worked perfectly!

Hey Dom ... not sure you would appreciate the silk no matter how expensive .. it's woven too tightly and you will find yourself huffing and puffing (but not able to blow the house down) ... Cat Surprised

Elastic may irritate some folks if they have a Latex allergy

Or maybe flat shoelaces are easier to work with

I can't sew to save myself,past darning a sock

Spoiler
Is darn going to get bleeped?
