Malcolm's slip of the tongue

Who could the "demented Plutocrat'' turnbull spoke of be ? the conclusion most come to is of course Rupert murdoch . Nobody else fits the description despite turnbulls dubious claim he was reffering to William Randolph Hearst.. "Citizen Kane''

should turnbull be watching his back ? i  hope so ..  there may be just a little resentment on display here from Mal, having to flog a somewhat trashed version of the NBN and destroying his own cred at Ruperts request and tones insistence to appease rupert.

He must realise by now the PM's job will never be his.

well, he is most likely wishing he didn't make a rare truthful remark, perhaps the stress of selling a lemon got to him and his tongue won the battle with his survival instinct . despite his slippery denial, he's just shot his own ambition in the foot  Smiley Happy

Re: Malcolm's slip of the tongue

Talkers remorse for a "slip of the tongue"more probably  regret,  however  I do wonder if chagrin  could apply to some CS posts!

Re: Malcolm's slip of the tongue

No, I don't think he likes answering uncomfortable questions, probably wasn't in this case but often they are.

Pointing out any error or double standards is only applicable one way it seems.
