The woman who dragged the UK out of the past & the grip of the unions (3 day week) into a vibrant competitive country.
She was the confidant of Gorbachov & saw the end of communism of the Eastern bloc. She was a giant of a woman, her political tenure was world changing & in the end her party betrayed her.
She left parliament & made a very short statement (no long maudlin I am proud of the fact speech) no tears & nowhere to live.
She never played the misogynist card, she never lost her composure, she never turned nasty or vincictive & she had many reasons to do so.
She was a lady of the highest order, a giant among the giant men of the times.

what i find amusing is the constant ''UK's first female prome minister'' shouldn't that be 'only' or 'last' ? echoes of australia .. women and men alike find that hard to deal with. will julia be "australia's First female PM'' or 'last and only' female PM ?
Rip argentine soldiers.
