Sad for his boys, imagine having to live with the knowledge of what their father has done?

Ned Kelly is an Australian folk hero, yet he assulted civilians, was a horse thief, bank robber, held civillians hostage, killed three policeman, and was the head of an outlaw gang......

People are attracted to men in uniform, dare I add - with the addition of these mens' actions involving killing other men......think about it before you jump down my throat please.
Ned wore an unmistakable 'uniform', a crude copy of a knight in shining armour- hence the romanticism about him perhaps?
A group of men that wore (police)uniform and set about killing with given authority/approval..... -vs- a group (Ned was not on his own) where only some wore a uniform set about unauthorised killing of (police) men with authority that wore uniforms.........

Yes, I was thinking the same but my daughter pointed out there were warnings about the content at the beginning of the show and also after a commercial break before continuing the interview.

Oh I missed the warning, I didn't watch it from the beginning, but I'm still surprised that it would be allowed. Tv and radio ect are getting to relaxed about things like that.

I dont know why you'd think i'd jump down your throat paintsew, its an interesting theory re the unifom.
Personally i think its an anti cop thing more than anything else. One of the Ned Kelly websites has a list of every infraction ever reported on the Victorian police as though that somehow has some bearing on Ned Kelly's situation.
Ned Kelly was fascinating because of the era and, of course, the armour. in 150 years from now, nobody will remember Chopper Read. He's pretty run of the mill as far as criminals go.
