Sarah was eliminated tonight. I knew it! She is an extremely good cook and she really seemed to get it together tonight but missing her family has been too much.
Not everyone can ignore the family and kick ahead when they are starting out.
On the bright side Sarah may come back and also other eliminated hopefuls when they do the second chance. I remember when Justine was eliminated and she still has her cooking show in the afternoons.

How disappointing
Alarm bells started ringing loudly in the first test tonight.
Not sure I agree with second chance - but I would make an exception for her lol

@j*oono wrote:Hi Sineater. I haven't signed up to anything or paid anyone to watch the episodes. It's a shame they leave the advertisement in the beginning but I suppose the advertisers are paying for it.
Try going to this page:
http://tenplay.com.au/channel-ten/masterchef/episodes
Then click on the red 'watch episode' bar on the right hand side.
still the same thing, nothing but a black box,and i can't click on the toolbar to start it,it's greyed out. maybe it's because i'm in the usa? i'm going to ask james to see if he can see it,he's good with international stuff.
thanks for trying to help, and i'll let you know what,if anything,we find out!:)

I loved the show tonight. I'm going to enjoy this week a lot with Marco Pierre White as the special guest. The poor contestants were terrified when he showed up 😄 Especially Tracy and she was flabbergasted to the point of tears when he came any where near her.
Laura is definitely my new favourite. she has nerves of steel and just loves to cook in her own family style.
I think that Byron is not coping. Amy is a little bit out of her depth too.

WOW - wasn't he intimidating for them all!
Poor Tracey withered under his stare initially but you could tell there was some connection there and the editors sure focused on that.
His very gruff exterior belies a softer side to him - at least the way he is portrayed.
It is going to be an exciting week.
Laura is a treasure and amazingly talented given her youth.
Didn't you love Marco's two minute talk with Byron?

Really! I hope they give him open slather and he doesn't have to play the bad guy. I really enjoyed watching him on MasterChef and of course I love listening to him because of the Liam Neeson accent 😄 I'll have to watch it next season.
So, Byron is gone but it was so sad tonight. Marco was gentle with him. Marco would be a really hard task master but a great teacher too. I almost expected him to say 'stand tall, little grass hopper' 🙂

Loved last night's episode!
Did you know Matt Preston started out as a punk musician? Just listening to an interview with him on the ABC lol
Marco has the most expressive eyes and the manner in which he counselled Byron was heart-warming.
Interesting personality - almost mercurial - from his sternness in the kitchen to his handling of the judging .... and with a pretty devilish sense of humour I suspect lol
Enjoying this series and particularly this week.

Interesting (to me at least) - Matt Preston just said it takes almost six months for the show to be filmed.
I did not realise it would take that long - he said they spend six months - almost every day in each others' company - cooking, learning and judging!

Channel 7 stole Manu Fieldel and Colin Friels. They both appeared as guest chefs on Masterchef.
Hey J*oono did you hear that Pete Evans has left my kitchen rules and has been replaced by Colin?
Colin Friels is an actor and not a chef. Is this the right person?
Nothing on MKR website.
Confused
