I usually make plain scones- funny you would mention earl grey tea- delicious! (and Im having a steamy cup right now!)
I have made date scones, chopping up the dates into about 6 pieces, but they can be quite sweet, so I dont put very many in...but with cold hard lurpak butter, Im pretty happy.
I just remembered cheese scones- to eat with cauliflower soup... yum.

Steak and chips and salad here. Maybe I can zhoozh it up with
some caramelised onions adding a dash of balsamic?
Sorry - no good at 'plating'

Plating?? Wots that anyway? lol
Thats pretty posh with the balsamic...lol
Having rice + curry here, if I can even be bothered..I know its worth it, but meh, sometimes I want to cross my arms and nod my head and shout shazam! and dinners done...good thing about curry, you get enough for left overs..lol
