Masterchef 2018

I like Masterchef better than the other cooking comps.

Great way to start this season rather than the mass single tasks they used to do.

Now every hopeful contestant gets 1 hour to cook a dish tasted by the 3 judges.

With second chance contestants cooking for a blind tasting.

24 contestants get an apron.

They did ok with the bread challenge.

But Matt cheated by tasting Jess' before the time was up.

Bad move.

Haven't watched tonight's show yet.  Don't think I'll have time to either.

Have to catch up tomorow.

Great show tonight, all the eliminated contestants are back.

Don't know how many will be safe from that group.

I know, that's disappointing, such a character.

But the cooking skills in that person are limited IMO.

My fave is still young Jess and I like Ben too even though his skills are also a little basic.

I agree with you about his cooking skills.

Jess is absolutely gorgeous and I also like Samira and Hoda (her beautiful gentle smile is a delight ... besides her cooking lol). Khanh has come a long way too.

Not sure I agree with a contestant being able to earn two pins though - perhaps next year they might find the need to exclude any contestant already holding a pin from competing for a second one as it seems just too much of an advantage against fellow competitors.  Just my opinion of course.

The field is narrowing.

I still like Samira, Hoda, Gina and Jess......too many?      Can't choose my fave.

Don't much care for Ben, sorry.

I agree lane, what if the contestant gets to the semi finals and still has 2 pins ?

It will also potentially push out 'more deserving' cooks.

There all good cooks stawks but I prefer the younger enthusiasm. Jess and Brendan. Khanh is good too.

I read that Hoda lost 55kg's in 7 months, wow. She used to be 110kg's.
