Masterchef 2020

Anyone watching it ?

Great to see some earlier faces and good memories.

I always liked Jess, Callum, and Reynold.

Very smart to have Gordon Ramsay kick it off seeing as the old judges are no longer with the show.

Looks like some interesting recipes to start off with.

Of course.Smiley Happy

I prefer the old judges though. I don't know why exactly, but they were just... better.

Sort of odd to see Gordon Ramsey being civil & not swearing his head off. To be honest, it must be much more relaxing for him to be able to be a normal human being instead of feeling he has to rave and rant all the time like he did on hotel nightmares or whatever it was.

Well springy, ya spoke too soon.

Last night Gordon was back to his ol self letting out a few expletives.

It was nice to see the cooks are just human and were more like amateurs under pressure.

Even Poh said she felt the same as when she was first in Masterchef.

Re: Masterchef 2020

I've only caught up with the first episode and the handout of the immunity pin.

I quite like the new judges.   They're skinny, for starters   hahahaha

Got fed up with George....he gave the impression he was entitled.

No more listening to Boom boom shake the room.

He always said that all wrong.

Re: Masterchef 2020

Haven't caught up with last night's show yet.

Hope to do that later this arvo, or it will get away from me.

This could be interesting.....how will they edit him out, I wonder?

Yeah, I know, it's Woman's Day.   But is he kicked off?

He is on the show but I guess maybe half way through they will say, Ben has left the show for personal reasons, or to that effect.

Re: Masterchef 2020

It sounds as if he might be later on but it hasn't happened yet.

They will probably just announce Ben has sadly had to leave the show, without saying why.

I used to enjoy watching to see what suit Matt Preston would wear. Natty dresser.

Natty dresser?   I liked him, but sometimes it looked like he was wearing a bedspread.

Filming started in January, before the virus and social distancing.

But the show must go on apparently -

Off to catch up on last night's show, if I can.......

A shame to see such a nice person go as the first, but their dish looked very ordinary.

Don't get me wrong, there is no way I personally would wear half the suits in public if i were a male.

They were highly theatrical. That is what i liked about them though. Out of the ordinary. If someone is going to be on TV, as a presenter, judge, singer or whatever, I love to see a bit of over the top dressing.Smiley Happy
