Yes, not only galvanised the mateship, but also made us aware of all the new mates we have.
Australians may say; "She'll be right mate," when they look out for one another.
"She'll be right!" means not to worry because we stand together in good times and in troubled times. No fanatic or trouble maker will break that link.

I can see your point and it's a great thought. Yesterdays terrible happenings was not an act of Terrorism. It was a Madman with a long criminal background who just lost it. I feel incredibly sad for his Victims, but nothing for him.

Yeah I realize that Horizon. At the same time the definition of terrorism is vague at best. And I dont think the OP is trying to paint the incident as a "terrorist attack" But the perputrator was definately a person who terrorised and frightened alot of people, he may not have been part of a group like IS or Al Qaeda but I dont think one has to be (part of a group) to inflict terror into people...
