my car VZ Commodore has started with a click-click-click when I try to start it.... it does it 2 or 3 times ... eventually starts after I bless it a few times .... but I'm worried that eventually it won't ..... so, starter motor? solenoid?
This had to happen when every mechanic for miles around is on 2-weeks holiday.

well ...... here I am .... waiting ...... waiting ...... radiator was supposed to come on the 8:30 delivery - DIDN'T! Now it's supposed to come on the 1:30 delivery. Been without a car all weekend - luckily nothing drastic happened with either of them.
So, basically shi$$ed right off !!!
Ask me how I'll feel if it doesn't turn up at 1:30 ish?
I think I'll start a Religious thread - how about Trinity or Immortal Soul or Burning in Hell? We haven't had any of those for a while now.
I know, what about a nice juicy Catholic thread?

you could pray in the hope of choosing a better car next time...
but then again... they all require maintenance, some more than others - commodores fit in that category

Commodores fit into which category - 'some' or 'others' ? [edit: I got it back this afternoon - $675 for water pump and radiator etc.]
This car was 2 years old when I got it. I have had it for 7 years and have spent nothing on it, apart from normal services, tyres etc - it's only been in the last 3-4 months that I have had to spend heaps.
Well, I did put leather seats in it about 10 months ago and seat back DVDs for 'the boy'.
I have been lucky I guess with cars - never had any trouble that I can recall - still I did change them every 2 years that might have had something to do with it..

'some'
theres better options around imo, but if RWD is a must that narrows the selection down somewhat
you've done alright with this car though
700 bucks spent in 7 years is bugga all really
