Men and the stupid things they do.

(Sorry guys and feel free to start an equivelent 'stupid women' thread altho you will be hard pressed to get the list as long as I can make mine...)

Sometimes I shake my head in wonderment at the way the male brain work.

How can you not understand what a teatowel is for? Like, I don't want to wipe my wet hands on it or dry my plates with it after I have just seen you use it like a mop to wipe up the floor.

Or peg etiquette. Undies only need one peg. ONE.

And when you light up the barbeque and you can't see the steak through the smoke, don't just stand there and watch it - close the window above the BBQ so the house doesn't fill with smoke.

Ummm why is he even in the kitchen doing womans works!!!!!!!!!!!

and if you dont like the way he cooks on the barbie you could always cook the steaks in your kitchen.

And if you dont like the smoke in the house you could always close the window, after all he is busy cooking for you. 😛

Re: Men and the stupid things they do.

Men aren't very bright obviously, mine doesn't know how to empty the bin in the kitchen. If he sees the light on on the washing machine he turns it off leaving a full completed load in the machine, if he gets washing off the line he doesn't understand laying things flat will prevent wrinkles.

He is really good at asking what's for dinner though.

Hi Martini!-Dopey male here (BTW whatever happened to the "mere male " column in New Idea,I think?)

Anyhoo, a  tea towel should NOT be used for drying plates-they should be rinsed & air dryed in the interests of good OH&S & Food Handling Practices-definetly not used on food prep equipment after drying ones hands on them.

It's one peg for a minumum of two sets of reg grundy"s.

Shame on your OH for ruining the steak-but the smoke in the house shows how hard he is working.

Please LOL along with me & list some more

Re: Men and the stupid things they do.

they are not stupid i think they just don't care or they just don't know.

maybe try to explain in a calm voice what (for example) the different sections of the cutlery drawer are for and it might improve.

it doesn't matter to me if undies are hung up on 1, 2 or 8 pegs. my hubby always uses 1 peg for undies, he is quite good in hanging up washing and the cutlery drawer thingie DID improve after i explained it to him.

...also, it's your own fault if you marry a stupid man (in case he really is stupid and not just ignorant about to him unimportant details).
