Just heard this on TV. Owner said he thought it was a light hearted idea. I didn't catch it all but I think he said it wasn't handed out at the dinner.
crikey - It was that restaurant named in the link on a previous thread in this topic.

It seems suss to me - why would he go to all the trouble of printing up such an extensive menu for his own amusement?
😉
But I suppose it takes the heat off the Liberal Party which is of course the reason why he has come forward. 😉

I thought the quail with small breasts and large thighs rather funny
but quails only have little tiny thighs - have you seen a quail drumstick?

For real? I don't know 5 people who don't have a computer and a printer.

Theres reports coming out not on twitter that the restaurant owner is denying making the menu...
all getting very confusing and messy.

It would take less than 5 minutes. He probably had the proper menu on his computer already and just opened that and changed it and printed it...

I hope they name and shame the two responsible for its distribution.
Why? What they did may not be fair, but they haven't broken any laws. In the other thread it said a 'past' employee who reosted it on twitter.
I don't think the owner will lose a lot of business either, probably knows a lot of people who thinks the same way he does.
They have broken industry trust of both their employer and their past work mates - no one would want to work with them again.
Do you have any idea how many people would have to be fed each day in that restaurant for it to stay afloat? It's in one of the main streets of Brisbane for starters and at an average of $68 spend per head, roughly $23 profit per person - (assuming they operate efficiently) they need 15 to 20 people a day just to cover one chef's wage and that of the restaurant manager's, far less any other wages or other overheads.

I think I saw him (owner) on TV speaking before, but could be wrong, it might have been Mal Brough.
Anyway all this is taking the focue of real election issues isn't it?

Believe what you want to believe, the damage control is not believable.
I believe nothing yet - I want to wait for proof, not rely on a media article.
