A real journalist would cringe to be a part of that type of social media.
So you haven't taken a look at it either? Do you look at and evaluate anything before the undiginified rants?

But not such a supporter when she attacks gays and compares them to paedophiles whether she meant it or not that's the analogy she used.
Opps1 she made the wrong analogy and she has caused anger and upset no matter what platitudes she's uttered in the past.
The realaity of her thinking was on show last night.

I'm guessing that anyone who would compare same-sex marriage to being a pedophile, is someone who should find a new line of work. Politics may not be her destiny.
You guess was inaccurate then.
Seven years of blogging so far, many more to come.
It's more an online daily magazine than a blog, imo.
The mommy blogger label is used in a sexist, derogatory manner considering her career in publishing
Yes, you are right. I read this earlier, before I posted that even.
We’re not a mummy website, we’re not a news website and we’re not an opinion website either. We defy categorisation (just like our readers).

No, it's website. It started as a blog years ago and has long since grown into a full blown magazine style website.
No, real journalists don't cringe about it. She employs real journalists.
How did you get to be spokesperson for so many people? Are you a PR person for the journalists union?

I have probably read Mia F's website articles once or twice ever. The one I do remember reading was about the Italian girls whose mother brought them to Australia without their fathers permission.
So many wild, inaccurate assumptions about other posters political leanings (if they have any at all even) and what they read. Complete fabrication.

At the tender age of 24 Mia Freedman was the youngest person worldwide to become a Cosmo editor when she was appointed editor of Cosmopolitan Australia. Today she still keeps a finger on the pulse of the media industry with her website Mamamia, alongside being an author, columnist, media consultant for The Today Show and a healthy body image advocate with the Body Image Advisory Group – all with time to spare to be a mother.
Are all journalists with children of their own - mummy bloggers or daddy bloggers? Does Bolt have children? If so, he must be a Daddy blogger.

Funny that's not what she says?

Social media is Twitter, Facebook, Instrgram, forums,... doesn't include websites.
Editor of Cosmo, aged 24 (youngest in the world) not a real journalist? OK

That's what she said, there's no glossing it over even though many want to.
Freedman the darling Of Gillard, the person she went to for advice??? puleeze.
dont really know that much about her but
she seems pretty neutral:
The line was this: Tony Abbott thinks only highly educated women should procreate! Tony Abbott is being sexist and classist and dissing women with low incomes! Many prominent women gleefully joined the party, amplifying the outrage on social media, accusing Abbott of denigrating women without tertiary degrees or white collar jobs.
Give. Me. A. Break.
He was doing no such thing.
He was simply making the point – albeit a little clunkily but not everyone is as sublime or technically masterful a spontaneous public speaker as Obama – that PPL should be linked to an individual’s income not based on the minimum wage. In the same way sick leave and annual leave is.
