Perhaps you should tell us, in her own words, exactly what she said rather than what you assumed she said. tyroing it out might actually help you to understand it.

Did you watch the conversation yet?

Or read the transcript?

She made an ill conceived comment but she did not equate gays to paedophiles or even really compare them if we're being honest about it.

Its a blog, a mummy blog,  no matter how much you would like to legitimise it. She was OK with it being a mummy blog,  that's the demographic  she directed her blog to and thats pretty much where it stays.

A real journalist would cringe to be a part of that type of social media.
