I know we had a thread like this before but I thought it worth doing a new one.
The station I listen to of a morning has a competition going, they play you the start of the song and you have to come in with the first words of the lyrics.
The easy option is, the first 3 words $100, the hard option is the first 7 words, $500.
This morning I thought I had it with INXS - Need You Tonight - ♪ all you got is this moment ♪
I always though it was "in the gardens of Smolensk"
Don't ask me why, I just always did. Until this morning
the coveted five laughy-face award.

I always thought that Michael Jackson was singing "Ben, the two of us need live no more", when it is actually look no more.

As a kid I always used to sing "Australians all let ostriches" it was years untill I found out it was let us rejoice lol

In my first year at school we used to sing hymns at assembly - one of them was:
Gentle Jesus meek and mild
Look upon a little child,
Pity my simplicity,
Suffer me to come to thee.
I never gave much thought to the 'suffering' but I always wondered why the mice needed to be pitied implicitly.
