Mohammad has had a seizure, severe chest pain and is now unconscious. I have lit a candle for this young man while I wait for the sad news of his passing. Shame on you, Mr Dutton.
This link was from a few days ago and only touches the surface of what this man has suffered whilst in our care, What have we become?

Reading that article leaves me thinking we are not getting the real facts from either side
and reading the facebook support page -
there seems to conflicting information.
i hope he recovers and his asylum application
is processed quickly and i dont blame dutton
for his and all the other asylum seekers' decision
to hunger strike.
i can see why the asylum seekers resource
organisation does not want to promote it either.

the hunger strikes are futile and are doing nothing but harm to the other detainees - the authorities simply can't give in to them even if they wanted to, and it makes the participants appear to be acting like petulant children demanding they get their own way.

I still remember Bobby Sands.

Thankyou everyone for your prayers and wishes. Mohammad spent last night on a drip being treated for dehydration as he can't keep any fluids down and vomits constantly.
He is now back in his room feeling very tired and scared.
Please can I again remind well meaning Australian friends to stop sending other asylum seekers to his room trying to have their photo taken with him and asking him questions.
He has been inundated again today and it makes him very, very upset.
He needs rest and he doesn't want to communicate. He is concentrating on staying alive against all odds.
Thankyou all for everything you are doing.
If you want to show him and his family your support please click on the link below. Read the letter of support and scroll down and add your name and location and positive messages you want to send him.
Please share widely with your networks. All your thoughts and prayers help keep him strong.

what happened to the OP?
MOHAMMAD Albederee stopped eating to protest the lack of medical treatment for kidney and shoulder problems, after an alleged assault by guards at the Papua New Guinea detention centre last year.
"I feel I will lose my life very soon," the 31-year-old father of three said in a video obtained by AAP.
A tearful Mr Albederee then pleads for help.
"I need help, I don't want to die," he said.
In the video, he holds up bags of vomit and says he can't keep even fluids down.
The department of immigration has insisted Mr Albederee is receiving appropriate medical care.
Mr Albederee was reportedly flown to Port Moresby in mid-June for x-rays and a MRI but instead of being kept in a hospital, was put in a hotel room and guarded for 12 days.
The immigration department says reports Mr Albederee is near death are "untrue".
Mr Albederee "continues to receive appropriate clinical care" at the Manus Island detention centre, a department spokesman said in a statement.
