Moroccan emergency teams on Saturday reached a young boy trapped down a deep well for over four days, ending in a nerve-racking operation hampered by concerns about ground stability.
There was no immediate information on the condition of Rayan, 5, but a statement read out by an official at the site in the morning said he was showing signs of life.
An ambulance with a resuscitation and medical team and a helicopter were kept on standby to treat and take him to hospital.

Please pray for this little fellow to be safely reunited with his family.

That's good news that they were able to reach him. Let's hope he recovers.
It reminds me slightly of a case in Melbourne many years ago now. A boy (or maybe 2 boys, I can't recall) got lost down a stormwater drain and they expected to find his body but they found him alive in some air pocket a day or so later.
Sometimes good things happen.

Poor little guy hung on for as long as he could.
One thing though. He did have people from a rival Country / One that Morocco has issues with, cheering for him.
God bless the valiant efforts of the people who tried to save him. Also thoughts and prayer for his family.
