This thread is dedicated to my Mother and her recovery.
On Monday the 4th June 2007, while holidaying in the UK with my Father, my Mother was struck by a van while crossing the road.
Mum spent 88 days in various UK hospitals before finally being brought home back to Australia on the 30th August 2007.
She is currently in The John Whittle Nursing Facility with brain damage
I have set up this thread to keep you all updated on her condition and her improvements and hopefully one day, Mum will be able to read it.

I have no words that will make all this feel better for you, but I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts.♥♥♥
Mourn for Mum, cry for Mum and get mad at Mum, all normal reactions.
When it is all over, when you have done the above, then you will remember your Mum♥♥♥♥
The laughter, the tears and most of all, the Love you and your Mum have for each other.
You have loving, happy memories, after a while, you will start to think of all of those.
Rejoice in those happy memories, remind your children of happy times that they might be too young to remember, your Mum will always live in happy memories you have of her.

sending you enormous (((HUGS))) Amy ......as others have said it is not easy to lose a parent ......but the pain lessens and the love takes over :-x

Mum is only on medication for her lungs and they hope that, by only being on that medication, her liver wont continue to decline.
