This thread is dedicated to my Mother and her recovery.
On Monday the 4th June 2007, while holidaying in the UK with my Father, my Mother was struck by a van while crossing the road.
Mum spent 88 days in various UK hospitals before finally being brought home back to Australia on the 30th August 2007.
She is currently in The John Whittle Nursing Facility with brain damage
I have set up this thread to keep you all updated on her condition and her improvements and hopefully one day, Mum will be able to read it.

So i found out why ive been sick.
Im pregnant.
Its good news. A shock but good news.
I told Mum on the weekend i was pregnant and she had no reaction. I will miss my Mum though this pregnancy.

Hi all
welll Mum has been really sick the past week.
Very fluey and has needed to be back on oxygen again.
That, along with dads mother passing last week has been very very hard on dad.
But when i talked to him last night, he said mum had had a bit better a day and he had brought some bacon on the way home and was looking forward to having some bacon sandwiches.
My sister is doing much better on her anti dep's. She's even having a night out with some friends next Friday night.
I am having a bad time. I have had terrible all day morning sickness for near a month now and can hardly leave the house. And when i do have to go out, i have to take a bucket with me.
Im so sore from throwing up.
Im so tired and want to sleep all the time.
And i really miss having my Mum to call right now.
