My daughter had surgery this morning

Her dad is with her. She is 12

Tonsillectomy

She was still in recovery an hour ago and feeling rather sore and sorry.

And it is freezing here, apparently sleeting not far away.

I hope she feels better soon. I can remember trying to look after a 2yo little girl who had her's taken out. It would put quite a scare into me when she would stop breathing for awhile in her sleep,. Didn't help that everyone in the house smoked, I couldn't shild her from it, When I tried, it didn't fare well.

Sure she'll be fine.  Big hugs when you get to see her and icecream & jelly.
