My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

After the hottest September day on record in Perth I was going to give the reticulation a run tonight and make sure it's all working, but it's going to be heavy rain tomorrow so maybe not.

Re: My day

Off to the nursing home for a few hours, then into the repotting and garden bed decorating Woman LOL Oh and we have our bond and over payment of rent to collect so that will go to 12 months advance strata fees plus whatever else may come up at settlement.

Re: My day

I thought it was going to be an "enforced housekeeping" day due to rain.  But now the sun is shining.  Smiley Very Happy

Got to finish the weeding yesterday.  Will wait about a week to see if any more weeds show up (this rain will help).  Transplanted the Red Hot Pokers.  Didn't go to the nursery.

Whilst working yesterday in the garden my grandfather and mum "visited" me in my thoughts.  The many hours shared with them in their gardens came back.  Companion gardening - both with people, and with aligned plants.  Very comfortable and comforting. Heart

Re: My day

Did everyone have a good day? After a very cold start, the sun was shining brightly, the birds were singing, nice peaceful day for me ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: My day

My son cooked roast pork and veges with gravy for us. Can't complain about that, eh?

My insomnia might have kept me awake most of the night, but the people upstairs didn't help - they were still making noise at 4 am.

And, I nearly emailed Freddie at 5 am to ask her to come round and deal with the birds.

Re: My day

I was going to do heaps, but a neighbour popped over, so we sat out in sun drinking our morning tea 'n chatting, cooked some steak 'n made some coleslaw and pasta salad for lunch, had my nana nap, nice relaxing day for me. Hubs battled with the front tap he is trying to move, I think the tap won lol
