After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

What a great idea Flashie, the only problem with that for this area is the loungeroom dinning and kitchen are basically one large room.

With a black leather lounge you don't want the walls to be too dark or the room might be drab.
Have a look at the colour in the night light...mauve can absorb the colou and make it look dark. My mother had a small spare room painted in a very pretty shade of pale mauve. It was lovely during the day when the room was very light but at night it was a bit dull. I never had the heart to tell Mum that it was a bit of a disaster at night (I was the one who slept in that room when I was visiting)

Yes tonight will tell a different story, Mr F likes it, I told him to keep wandering past the splotch of paint on the wall and look at it from different directions. I will ask the Painter man in the morning and see if he thinks it's too dark for the area, if it is, a trip to Masters will only take 5 mins. He will start on the ceiling so we won't be holding him up.

I guess you wont be there when he's doing it, but I'd want to see an entire wall done before toning it down too much. You might find it ends up too light. Hopefully your painter can advise.
Yes we will be here punchy. I wonder if it's just me second guessing myself, it's only paint women

I like it, although it's hard to know if I am seeing a good colour match on the screen 😄
I like the darker shades of purpley colours more than the very light ones.

Pretty!
Good news for me today 🙂 no gardening but it looks like all my hard work has paid off. My mum's estate is going to be settled by Christmas. (she passed away in 1997)
It is part of a larger estate with 3 intestate shares. (starting in 1979) The public trustee told me the estate is "infamous"
because it is the oldest unresolved estate in NSW. lol.

Freddie, second thoughts can be a nuisance.
My monitor shows the original background as a soft green with your Heather Moor as being a deep lavender colour. So can't really judge. I went on to the Valspar site and couldn't find that shade either.
However, we mustn't forget that lounges, cabinets (filled with beautiful china), pictures, mirrors(?), etc. disguise or mask a lot of the surface.
I'm sure the mature-aged painter/decorator will know how to deal with the dilemma should you need to lighten the colour.
