After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Bluecat ... you know when you have that "after taste" of good food? Well, I can taste red onions and coriander right now 🙂

I love food.

On the negative side ... there is this loud, obnoxious, invasive, rude, revolting FLY in my unit. Bzzzzzz bzzzzz bzzzzzzzzzzzzz ...

Re: My day

I totally agree, who cares if no one else likes your taste, they won't be living there lol    It's a personal choice whether to paint timber architraves/doors etc. I am leaning towards painting ours, but will wait until walls are wall finished before making a final decision.

Re: My day

Well the Princess came in to check out our work and she loves what we have done even the colour of the walls and believe me she's not one to say she approves if she doesn't, so there we have it. We had coffee and mango & coconut mud cake mmmmm.

Re: My day

Busy day here, heaps of firewood collected, shopping all done and put away ( I hate the putting away bit lol ), a friend called in and collected our old freezer for his farm, everything gets recycled here lol.  Looks like hubs is going to start painting the sun/family room this week, all this warm weather has inspired him lol

Re: My day

Blue, how on earth did you break both your ankles?

It is a shame IMO when people let old houses go, things aren't made like they used to be and all that also so many are being pulled down for apartments in Melb. now, too many.

Even though we've been here for 20 years, there are still a few things we haven't finished off (yet)

I hope you had a nice day with the mum's group. I only go back as far as the kinder mums here, probably as we moved around a bit before then

Thanks Bushies, it is a nice ceiling but so hard to paint

Re: My day

My town is full of old cottages, some are in pristine cond, some not. Some sit there empty because the owner has died and there is no family left to do anything with the house or doesn't want it.
