My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Morning Freddie. ....overcast here at the present time.

Do install a shampoo set in your nsw shower, makes rinsing it so much easier. Be wary of the glass edges meeting rather than crossing over as the lack of cross over allows the water to seep through the slight gap 😞 .....resulting in a wet floor. Butted edges look great but from experience I would have the over lapped edges if I chose a screen again. Still.looks great and streamlined.

Maybe some sewing today. Tomorrow I am  chief bbq cook for the group. They are game allowing me to cook lol.

Re: My day

Hey Twinks!!

What do you mean by a shampoo set?

We have the stick on trays in the shower we have and the dash things keep falling off.

Thanks for the advice re the overlapping glass we noticed at Bunnings the ill fitting screen in one they have as a demo which is a real no no with me.

Re: My day

Maybe one of these things?

with the long line to rinse hair easily?

And rinse off the shower when cleaning it.

Re: My day

When we redid our main bathroom, we installed just a shower head because I was wanting easy clean, nothing in the way, over the large spa bath, as it doesn't have a separate shower and the loo is in there as well.

Last few weeks I have managed to switch the head for one with a flexible hose and square shower head. If you do the ones on the sliding pole, they are height adjustable too! and makes washing hair so much easier.

This is the one I used as it was simply a matter of removing the old head and arm, retaping the joint and screw on. I may have it changed later for the one on the sliding pole but not sure it's needed.

Re: My day

So many choices these days. We aren't doing our bathroom until next year, so I will have plenty of time to check out what I really want and also what works for us.  Off to the big smoke to buy more paint this morning, so I will take a good look at their bathroom hardware as well.

My bathroom is 17 feet long so it gives me plenty of scope lol

Re: My day

When we updated the showerheads went with the normal ones as hubby not a fan of the hose style. Maybe while he is away I can change one over huh? 😉
