My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

My day was productive and restful!  I now have the walk in almost done, a trip to Ikea and a visit with family and might have to go out for dinner!

Little miss 7 had a fall at school on Friday and skinned her knew, the office lady band aided it. Today she could barely walk and her knee is swollen, hot and bright red, blistered,  about a 15 cm band all the way around. Woman Surprised

off to the doc and he says it is an allergic reaction to the band aids,

So, no covering it................. no more band aids.

The issue is, she "can't stop thinking about it" and really wants it covered.

Re: My day

Took me a minute to work that out Katy .... bit slow these days lol

Quite warm here also once it got going, I managed to get two large wheelbarrow loads on wood chips on the garden, will get the rest finished tomorrow morning when it's cooler. Didn't do much else, Mr B had a day off from painting so I cooked a bbq lunch and we spent some time together, sitting on the back verahdah doing absolutely nothing lol

Re: My day

Katy, I don't think I've had to put the watering system on here in October before. The watering system has a few blockages and needs a bit of tweaking here and there, so it's good giving it an early test run.

I quite like hand watering, but it takes too long & the mozzies always get me lol

Re: My day

The watering system here, Deb, is my son and an IKEA watering can 😉

So stylish 🙂

Prevent the mozzies with basil plants. Send them to your neighbours instead. A couple of small plants will protect the immediate area, a bush (that'll take a while to grow), will take care of the whole house.

Re: My day

Bushies their plants were $5 per pot, the hellebores are pretty expensive in nurseries, so I thought they were a bit of a bargain
