Morning all, I was absolutely exhausted yesterday but feeling better today. Mr F has just got me to write out a FREE WORKING sign for the curb. We have a small freezer and a turbo cooker (I just don't use) so I hope someone can use them. I have other gadgets in the cupboards I don't use so they will go next. The charieties here won't take electrical appliances unless they are tagged.
We had a hot day yesterday I think we are heading in the same direction today, I think we will close up and take advantage of the new aircon and have a rest day.

I sat out on the verandah last night watching the lightning travelling across the sky, it was nowhere near here, prob up Horsham way and heading for Melb.. We received a sm downpoor early this morning, no where near enough to wet the garden, it didn't even register on the rain gauge ๐ With bushfire season just around the corner, some rain is good but not heaps in one go, makes the grass grow too quickly, a little at time is good

It hit Melbourne with a vengeance this morning around 5. Still raining at almost 10. Easing off now. 16mm.
Forecast was for 0-2mm.
Lots of lovely rain, I hope not damaging though, was pretty fierce early on. No high winds.

What a night!!
Is everyone else as tired as me? It was impossible to sleep last night.
where did that storm come from.? lol
we went for a walk last night a few hours before it hit and it was just so beautiful
hope all the Viccies are OK. Did you hear about the trees at Kew cemetery being on fire? and one house burnt down due to a nearby lightening strike. You would not think a fire could rage in that rain ![]()

Blowing a gale here atm, so I think Melb will be copping it later today, if it isn't already

Mr F got the freezer, turbo cooker and 2 bedside lamps out to the curb and as soon as he put them down a fellow painting across the street came across and took them.

We were due for roadside collection today Freddie but with the weather I think it will be staying. Only my old letterbox sitting out there.
Made it to special person day despite travel time taking an hour! Normally a 12 minute trip.
Tossing up whether to sew or sand back a small table I have as a project for the girls room.
