My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

The shower unit will have a white splash back wall with a sand colour large tile wall, the floor and toilet will be the same tile.

I have in mind in the area where the bathtub is a bench with a lid for dirty clothes that you can also sit on (for old people) Woman Wink But I need to think more about this idea and run it by Mr Painter/builder man. Oh and we can get $100 cash back for the toilet from our water people.

Re: My day

Very classy looking bathroom wares.

Did I notice soft closing lid on the throne?  And soft closing vanity drawer?  Clever.

Will they hold the items, till the time of installation?

We bought them home with us Deb, all except the shower screen which needs to be ordered due to the right opening door.

Re: My day

Better than Olive Green or Mustard (pink that is).

When we built a house I chose for the ensuite apricot/peach coloured  toilet, vanity and shower frame (early 1990's).I wonder if occupants since then thought eurgh, rather have white/cream.

Where I live now the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are a peachy/apricot colour, (circa early 90's) so it must have been 'in' then.

Re: My day

So........while I was picking up future compost materials from the windswept backyard, (gum leaves, bouganvilla blossoms, palm fronds, silky oak golden blossoms) ....... the mind wandered  to really interesting stuff like Freddie's vinyl situation.

So I played with the 'ATMOSPHERIC" theory.

Here goes.  Don't shoot the mad thinker.Smiley Frustrated

Imagine the air conditioning is operating on a really hot windy day and it's sucking .

a) The westerlies are carrying coal dust from Gloucester; or

b) Freddie and Mr Tape-measureman are kicking up a dust storm outside with the planting project.

The airconditioner has collected dust in the filters.

Following the installation of her beautifully patterned flooring, there's another hot day.

Freddie decides to cook, with the exhaust fan doing its job.  She's getting hotter.  The airconditioner is turned on.

Would the airconditioner be blowing fine dust from it's filters and it's being drawn into the kitchen by the exhaust fan?

That's it.  That's my atmospheric theory.

Re: My day

hmmmm...

yes...

but Freddie created a tropical breeze and that hot, heavy rain only seen during a monsoon, with her magical mop and bucket...

yet the mysterious blackening remains, darkening all who dare to tread there...
