Re: My day

Good morning 🙂

Happy anniversary Sandy, enjoy your morning with your little grandaugher 🙂

It's a kinda annivery here as well, it 12 months today since we looked at our little, old, ramshackled cottage, fell in love with it and bought it on the spot.

Deb I love sitting out on my front verandah, watching the world go by and listening to  the peace and quiet 🙂

Another day pottering here today, can't say I miss the busy life of running around at all, just take each day as it comes

Re: My day

Unfortunately, I am one street back from Wyong Road, which is now a 4 laned highway.  So no real peace and quiet.  Except about 2am.  No often up at that time nowadays!  I envy your true serenity of the early morn.

Had to laugh at Sandy's Frank - what a character.  I congratulate you on 47 years.

Haven't heard from our resident cook.  Life must have changed a little with her newly finished-with-school son.

Bluecat, I got a beaut drill and some Knowing as gifts for Christmas last year.Smiley WinkIt's nice to have that perfume mixed in with the aroma of newly drilled wood.

Hello everyone else.  Off now to sweep the front step and Welcome Mat with my newly purchased (useless excuse for a) yard broom.  Why can't I find a real straw-like-the-old-days-broom?

Re: My day

lol Deb I can remember when Wyong road was a little more than "goat track"

In the 50's my late grandmother bought a cpl of cheap blocks of land at The Entrance, apparently my father told her to get rid of them asap, cause they would be "a millstone around her neck", so she sold them .... Will she and kept them and willed them to me instead lol

Darn re your broom, know exactly what you mean
